Preliminary inspection was done by Head of department of Care Plus’s Gynecology Department Prof. Dr. Nasira Tesneem; After initial checkup paitient was admitted for treatment of her severe pelvic pain, and Difficulty with Bowel Movement. During ultrasound along with initial investigation with visual inspection of vigina; report pointed towards underlying pelvic organ prolapse. Due to busy schedule of Prof. Dr. Nasira Tasneem, she called up for one of her best departmental surgeon Dr. Asma Khan; for emergency Anterior and Posterior (A&P) Repair Surgery. Upon reviewing the findings of her seniour colleague; Dr. Asma Khan quickly showed intent in conducting emergency A&P repair of the patient. Without delay, Prof. Dr. Nasira Tasneem appointed Dr. Asma Khan for the procedure. In emergency news was given to the paitient and her relatives; with their permission emergency Anterior and Posterior (A&P) Repair Surgery was adopted. Dr. Asma Khan upon getting consent for operation procedure from kin, quickly got ready for operation. Anterior and posterior (A&P) repair, also known as colporrhaphy, is a surgical procedure used to fix pelvic organ prolapse, where organs have dropped out of their normal position. Specifically, an anterior repair addresses a prolapse of the vaginal wall under the bladder (cystocele), while a posterior repair addresses a prolapse of the vaginal wall over the rectum (rectocele). Dr. Asma Khan repositioned the rectum and vaginal wall, reinforced the weakened muscles and tissues with dissolvable sutures, and used mesh for support. With grace of Allah the operation went successful and paitient life was saved. Post operation paitient was admitted in Care Plus ICU for the first 24 Hr for routine checkup, afterwards was joined with the relatives for first post operation meet.
